RazorSword Destructive Test

Three Videos on This Page

RazorSword Destructive Testing – The following three videos demonstrate the unprecedented durability of the RazorSword; its tough construction, and the quality of our tempered steel.  In the third video we hit a concrete slab 68 times without any damage to the blade.  (Prior to the test; this same RazorSword hit concrete blocks at least another 50 times – Total number of times hitting concrete 125-150 times)  We were able to get the blade lamination to separate; however in about 10-minutes we will re-laminate the blades back to factory specifications.  We continue to use this same RazorSword in demonstrations to this day, and it performs perfectly; with only tiny dents to the RazorSword edge.  The Law Enforcement Baton is constructed with the identical material, and it is also nearly impossible to break, or damage.  Now with hundreds and hundreds of concrete strikes; we have never broken a blade or caused any serious damage to the RazorSword blade.

#29. Crush 2×6-Inch Solid Concrete Slab – Destructive Test – 33″ Heavy Weight RazorSword –
After striking concrete hundreds of times, over the course of several days, we finally get the laminated RazorSword blades to separate.  This is a good thing; as it dissipates the destructive energy when striking concrete.  Thus the RazorSword and its laminated high carbon steel blades sustain no damage (only minor dents).  After all this concrete crushing; the RazorSword may be re-laminated by anyone, back to factory specifications, without any damage.  The re-lamination process is simple, and takes 5-8 minutes; see video #37.
